I've been reading several blogs on the internet about what constitutes a "real" photographer. With constant advancements in technology, things get easier and easier. You no longer need a dark room to develop your photos. Nowadays all you need is a decent color printer. I think we have to be careful how we judge others sometime.
Everyone has to start somewhere.
No matter if you're getting into wedding photos, event photos, or glamor shots. We all have to start somewhere. I started with a Sony TRV-38 and DSC-W7 back in 2005 doing weddings and events. Just because someone my not be on the level of a Canon 7D or 1D doesn't mean they shouldn't be doing photography. they shouldn't be made fun of or ridiculed. If you keep shooting, you will only get better. As far as education and training goes, it definitely wouldn't hurt to enlighten yourself. I was a videographer before I went to film school. I felt I needed to be immersed in a class room environment in order to acquire the knowledge I was seeking. As far as photography goes, I have never taken a photography class but I still do good work. (See blog title). So for some, education may not be needed but some will always need it in order to excel. For the record, I am going to take a few classes in the winter of 2011.] for myself.
Good start to the blog world bro, your art is very nice. Keep training and seeking knowledge because it looks like its paying off.
